What is a structured program?
A structured program is written in module or blocks. It has only one entry and one exit point. A structured program is easy to follow and understand.

What is a subprogram?
A subprogram is a group of statements that perform a single operation on execution. Subprogram is written once and can be called (used) at several places in the program.
Advantages:
·        A subprogram is easy to design, document and debug.
·        A subprogram is written once and can be used at different places.

What are types of subprograms? Explain.
A subprogram is a group of statements that perform a single operation on execution. Subprogram is written once and can be called (used) at several places in the program. There are two types of subprograms:
Function Subprogram:
A function (or function subprogram) is a routine that takes a value (string or value) as an input based on the input value.
Subroutine Subprogram:
A subroutine subprogram in BASIC is a series of statements that is written once in a program and can be called many time in the program.

What are different types of functions? Explain.
i) System Defined Functions
System defined Functions are also called Built-in Functions and Library Functions. BASIC includes a wide range of library/ built-in functions/library functions. They are already defined in BASIC. They are not defined again but used.
ii) User Defined Functions
It is a function provided by the user of a program or involvement, in a content where program or involvement.
